Position Summary

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for fulfilling all production requirements, including work order picking and replenishment of materials consisting of light parts and small kit components on a daily basis and in a timely manner. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain an efficient and accurate stockroom. Work is performed in a clean, light-manufacturing environment.

In addition, the Stockroom Clerk will be cross-trained to support basic shipping functions when needed.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily cycle count of materials.
  • Ensure that all requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Pick and replenish materials consisting of light parts and small kit components.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all production work orders prior to delivering to the production floor.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Deliver all picked material to the proper locations on the production floor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all material storage areas.
  • Navigate a PC and use basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with internal teams.
  • Will be cross-trained in basic shipping functions and support the shipping team when required.
    • Assist receiving department in the storage of all incoming material, when required.
    • Pack materials for outgoing shipments following established packaging/process sheets.
    • Ensure all outgoing shipments are labeled correctly before leaving the facility.
    • Assist with preparing shipment materials ahead of schedule when possible.

Required Education and Experience 

  • Minimum 1 year warehouse stockroom experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to use basic computer programs.
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Able to stand and walk around for long periods of time.
