Position Summary

The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for fulfilling all production requirements, including work order picking and KANBAN replenishment, daily and in a timely manner. In this role, you will be a hands-on individual contributor in the warehouse and work as part of the Operations & Supply Chain team, reporting to the Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor.


 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily cycle count of raw materials and semi-finished product when required.
  • Ensure that all KANBAN tags are fulfilled daily in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all scheduled production work orders are picked daily.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all production work orders prior to delivering to the production floor.
  • Deliver all picked material to the proper locations on the production floor.
  • Assist with receiving and storage of all incoming material when required.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of all material storage areas.
  • Gather all KANBAN tags from all the KANBAN areas on the production floor daily.
  • Assist in maintaining a 99% cycle counting accuracy.
  • Will be cross-trained to work in pre-packing and receiving.

     

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills
  • Able to understand and operate a computer in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Understanding of materials handling
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Experience in the proper storage and rotation (FIFO) of electronic materials
