Position Summary
The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for fulfilling all production requirements, including work order picking and KANBAN replenishment, daily and in a timely manner. In this role, you will be a hands-on individual contributor in the warehouse and work as part of the Operations & Supply Chain team, reporting to the Warehouse & Inventory Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the daily cycle count of raw materials and semi-finished product when required.
Ensure that all KANBAN tags are fulfilled daily in a timely manner.
Ensure that all scheduled production work orders are picked daily.
Ensure the accuracy of all production work orders prior to delivering to the production floor.
Deliver all picked material to the proper locations on the production floor.
Assist with receiving and storage of all incoming material when required.
Maintain the cleanliness of all material storage areas.
Gather all KANBAN tags from all the KANBAN areas on the production floor daily.
Assist in maintaining a 99% cycle counting accuracy.
Will be cross-trained to work in pre-packing and receiving.
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills
Able to understand and operate a computer in a Microsoft Windows environment
Understanding of materials handling
Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Experience in the proper storage and rotation (FIFO) of electronic materials
